Lord George Nkosana, thirty-three years of age, is a Cape buffalo of considerable strength and even more so, considerable girth! This Gentle gentleman carries himself with unusual grace and gentleness, his easy, friendly manner disarming anyone who expects a lord of his size to be anything but kind. Born in South Africa, he lost his first wife shortly after she gave birth to their son, a grief he has never spoken of publicly, and has since remarried, to Lady Isobel Nkosana, becoming, by all accounts, as devoted a husband the second time as the first. To the wider world, Lord George is the rare aristocrat who will speak as warmly to a stable hand as to a duke, a man whose easy company masks a genuine and active concern for the fortunes of his domain.

Proud yet unusually approachable, Lord George is altruistic, an accomplished public speaker, and has little patience for dishonesty in any form, however elevated its source. He is an enthusiastic sportsman by reputation, though his peers would note he spends rather more time selecting his polo, golf, and tennis outfits than actually competing in them, a vanity he'd likely admit to with a laugh. He wants, more than any personal comfort, to end poverty across his domain of Africa, and lives with the rather smaller, more immediate fear that the trousers he bought only last week no longer fit him, and that his notoriously strict physician will find out why.
